EZ One-Hand Keyboard

[prMac.com] Bay Area, California - Independent developers, Peter and Benita Schontag are proud to announce the release of EZ ONE-HAND KEYBOARD 1.0, their custom keyboard for iPad devices running iOS 8 or higher. The keyboard is arranged in alphabetical order, and additionally offers access to 33 standard symbols and other characters, all on one screen. The keyboard can be set for either right-handed or left-handed use.

EZ ONE-HAND KEYBOARD was developed specifically for iPad users who prefer typing with one hand, while using the other hand to securely hold the tablet. The keyboard's clean and simple design allows users to easily reach all of the characters and control keys with just one hand. The shape of the keyboard conforms to the ratio of a user's hand, requiring only minimal movement to reach any key on the keyboard.

Young users in particular will find the EZ ONE-HAND KEYBOARD an easier method of entering text than the standard large format iPad virtual keyboard. The alphabetic layout of the keys works well with the one-handed operation of the keyboard, allowing quick access to the most used characters and symbols.

"We wanted to make it easier for iPad users to securely hold their iPad while still efficiently entering text," says app developer Peter Schontag. "So Benita and I designed the EZ ONE-HAND KEYBOARD to allow for quick text entry, by placing the keys on one side of the screen. Left-handed users needn't worry, as the keyboard is designed to switch from one side to the other with just a quick swipe of a finger, making it perfect for typing with either hand!"

Features:
* Letter keys are in alphabetical order, which allows users to intuitively find the keys, and easily reach them with one hand
* Letters, numbers and symbols are arranged on the same screen, offering quick access to all characters
* Special characters and symbols are separated by diagonal lines, and upper symbols are activated via the Shift key
* Command keys such as the Space, Return, Delete, and TAB keys, are aligned on the left side for easy access.
* The keyboard can be moved to the left or right side of the iPad screen, making it easy to use for left-handers

The EZ ONE-HAND KEYBOARD's patented design, (U.S. Patent No. D684,154 S), was developed specifically for the iPad, making it more efficient than the "one size fits all" keyboard solutions that are designed for use on all sizes of iOS devices. The EZ ONE-HAND KEYBOARD makes more efficient use of the iPad's screen real estate, allowing for a better user experience.

"When Peter and I first began designing the EZ ONE-HAND KEYBOARD, we knew we had come up with the right idea to address the frustrations that many users face with the iPad's on-screen keyboard," shares co-developer Benita Schontag. "We believe our keyboard is a great solution, especially for beginning typists, who will find the alphabetical layout of the keyboard a boon to their typing speed!"

Device Requirements:
* Compatible with iPad
* Requires iOS 8.0 or later
* 7.0 MB
