Nearly 1 in 3 Central Valley children are hungry today. It might be one of your children's classmates. It could be a playmate down the street. It maybe one of the thoursands of children affected by a recent layoff of a parent or guardian. The effects of hunger on these children is devastating. They often suffer from a lack of focus, gradually falling behind at school. For many, the situation feels completely hopeless.

Today, you can do something about it. Every $1 donation can provide nine meals to a hungry child and ultimately, help children face their futures with hope.

We fight hunger by gathering and distributing food, engaging in partnerships that advance self-sufficiency, and by providing community leadership on issues related to hunger.
