Cowo Campus: Free Workspace, Coffee, with a Pinch of Everything

Cowo Campus Founders: Edwin Carde and Kuks Singh

Sacramento’s newest co-working space, Cowo Campus,  kicked off with a ribbon cutting with Mayor Darrel Steinberg.   It’s been over two years of work of hard work for founders Edwin Carde and Kuks Singh to develop the 12,400 square feet co-working space.  They are already off to a great start with their 23 private offices already 40% occupied.

What makes Cowo Campus unique ?  They offer free workspace.  Yep… Free.  How can they do this?  Well, you do have to pay for the coffee           and the private offices and conference rooms are available for rent.   In addition, a variety of classes will be offered including dance, painting, and yoga.

Singh envisions Cowo Campus as a place where multiple disciplines intersect and collaborate with each other.  He describes it as a pinch of everything …tech, art, music, dance, fashion, photography, videography and food will have a place at the Cowo Campus:

  • Tech Startup Dermveda and Swiss Monkey have already called Cowo Campus their home
  • Cowo Campus will be hosting Sacramento Fashion launch on February 17.
  • Sacramento’s Art Institute planning to hold an art show at the Coworking Campus on March 22nd
  • As for food, they plan to have rotating menu of prepared food from local chefs
  • Strato Financials has moved their offices there

“Cowo Campus breaks down the wall some you can breakthrough in your business” states Singh, “We believe in Sacramento and want to make an impact in the city.”

Cowo  Campus has a terrific youthful vibe.   If you’re in Midtown, stop by, have a cup of coffee and check it out:
